Because she’s part of our collaboration with the fantastic Volta whereby AB gives young Brussels artists a helping hand. Uwase is a new star on the indie-rock scene and already clearly a force to be reckoned with!
Backxwash 05 APR
This Zambian-Canadian rapper combines hip-hop with heavy metal and post-rock influences. She blew me away with her show at Pukkelpop, an insanely powerful performance that also left a lasting impression on those who attended BRDCST. More of that!

Future Utopia 17 FEB
True to tradition, the February days are still grey and short. To compensate, you can replenish some artificial vitamin D during the concert by Future Utopia, the project of Grammy-winner Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Dave, Stormzy). Expect sun-drenched sounds that remind one of spaghetti westerns!

French-Tunisian artist Emel is an impassioned and engaged artist who became known during the Arab Spring but evolved into an exciting mix of experimental and North-African music. She recorded her latest album ‘MRA’ (woman) with an entirely female cast. Hip hop, pop and reggaeton to dance the year in.

Kleine Crack & Slagter make Dutch-language hip-hop hors catégorie. This BRDCST 2024 discovery signed to Faberyayo’s punk hip-hop label Burning Fik and couldn’t be absent from Belgian Music Week.
