Upcoming Brussels talent presents her new EP
Singer-songwriter, guitarist and voice of her generation Uwase is also a producer with enlightened ideas. In the tradition of a pioneer like Julie McLarnon or an adventurer like Caroline Polachek, the Belgian singer controls the sounds and masters the smallest details of her artistic vision.
To co-produce her EP, she enlisted the help of Jasper Segers, a sound engineer renowned for his work with Balthazar, Sylvie Kreusch and Oriana Ikomo. Together in the studio, the duo combine past and present to orchestrate a timeless instrumental framework. A new star on the indie rock scene, Uwase shines with restraint and a certain discretion. A natural propensity for mystery and self-effacement that in no way prevents her from reinforcing her position.
A force to be reckoned with.
