The band is the musical brainchild of Fraser T. Smith, a renowned producer who has worked with the likes of Adele, Stormzy, Gorillaz and Sam Smith. For these achievements, he has already received awards, including a Grammy for his contribution to Adele's second studio album, 21. During the pandemic, he released his first album "12 Questions" under the name Future Utopia, immediately attracting international attention. It was quickly followed by albums "We Were We Still Are" (2023) and "Django's High" (2024), featuring collaborations with Kae Tempest and Biig Piig, among others. The latest album, co-produced by Sergio Pizzorno, songwriter and leader of Kasabian, is a cinematic record that broadens the horizons of Smith's musical universe.
After successful concerts at Pukkelpop and Lowlands, Future Utopia is now coming to the AB Club. And he's not just bringing a full band, as Smith has expanded Future Utopia to include Molly J, Ben Epstein and Anthony Lewis. I don't have 12 questions, just one: have you bought your ticket yet?
