What does Europe sound like today? At AB, we think it sounds like experimental jazz echoing from Warsaw, indie pop floating out of Brussels bedrooms, and folk melodies sung in the rich dialects of Italy’s southern coast, among so much more.
That’s why we’re inviting you to EUphoria – our annual celebration of Europe through music, taking place on Wednesday 14 May in AB Club. EUphoria takes place each year around Europe Day : a moment to reflect on our shared values, dreams, and creativity across borders. With this year’s edition, we continue our tradition of shining a spotlight on emerging European talent, bringing them center stage in our intimate capital city center venue.
This year’s lineup:
Uwase (BE)
She recently sold out her EP release show at AB, and we’re thrilled to welcome her back. With her soft yet bold voice and dreamy indie-pop, Uwase captures the raw beauty of vulnerability. Accompanied by two stellar female musicians, her performance is tender, powerful, and magnetic.
Kosmonauci (PL)
One of Poland’s most exciting new ensembles. Merging jazz, hip-hop, drum & bass and improvisation, Kosmonauci have been making serious waves back home. Their debut album Sorry, nie tu sold out before it was even released – come find out why.
Alessia Tondo (IT)
A leading voice of Southern Italy, Alessia Tondo has worked with the likes of Ludovico Einaudi and Angelique Kidjo. Her solo work blends electronic textures with the warmth of traditional instruments and heartfelt vocals in the Salentino dialect.
Talks before the music
Before the show, our partner Liveurope will host a short conversation between cultural professionals and EU policymakers about the place of music in Europe’s future. It’s a crucial conversation – and the perfect warm-up to a night of unity through sound. EUphoria 2025 is free. Just show up at AB Club from 20:00. Come early though: we expect a full house!
