But it was mainly under his own name (no, no relation to 'our' Isbells) that he scored big-time with lovers of honest, robust and 'outspoken' rock (with soul and country connections.) Up to and including Grammy's in the Americana department for CD 'Something More Than Free' and especially single '24 Frames.'
A new CD is planned for the spring of 2017, out here via V2. And after that full Orangerie last year, it’s high time for more fiery craftsmanship about 'the dignity of work, the difficulty of love, the friction between the present and the past.'
