Step in the direction of maturity with debut ‘Heads Of Woe’
In early 2014 Geppetto & The Whales delivered a gripping debut full of inspiring harmonies, layered whisper-pop entwined with psychedelic soundscapes, in the form of ‘Heads Of Woe’. More than enough melancholy in this fine listening-album that was recorded with the assistance of Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Devendra Banhart, Jonathan Wilson) in Studio La Chapelle. First single ‘1814’ was picked up quickly by national radio stations and the associated video even landed on the website of Coldplay.
