Exciting new tribute to 1 of the best live recordings ever, positive vibrations only!
Europe's number 1 Bob Marley tribute pays tribute to Marley's magisterial live album Babylon By Bus 78. 40 years after release, this album still ranks as one of the best live recordings ever released. Packed with classics like Is This Love, Exodus and Stir It Up - to name just a few of the biggest - Rootsriders are eager to go on stage again. In their minibus, the band will be touring NL, BE and Europe from 15 March to 19 May to put their favorite album in the limelight! Positive vibrations guaranteed!
Rootsriders was founded in 2006 to commemorate Bob Marley's 25th anniversary. A sold-out show in one of the best pop venues in the Netherlands tasted like more and since then the band has become the best Marley tribute in Europe (and some say far beyond). In 2013, the blind audition of Rootsrid's singer Mitchell Brunings at The Voice of Holland went viral worldwide and created a lot of extra attention for the band, including some sold-out tours, together with Mitchell of course who left the band and played the leading role in the official Marley musical interpreted. Currently, Mo Ali, from Sudan, is considered by experts to be the best Marley-inspired voice in the world, and the Caribbean Tamara Nivillac is the most important singers of the band.
