This concert will now take place in the evening and will be a double bill in collaboration with LivEurope and the Catalan Institute Ramon Llull.
Rita Payés is a Spanish, Catalan sensation. She learned piano from an early age, plays the trombone and guitar pleasantly and magisterially. Her heavenly recoganisable voice is complimented by the talent of sensitive and likeminded people. Together here as the Rita Payés Roma Quartet.
Those who immerse themselves in her oeuvre, or start with the many videos, soon notice the artistically rich musical family Rita comes from. Add to that an early training with the Sant Andreu Jazz Band and you get an atmospheric, subtle cocktail of songs. Or in professional terms: refined entertainment!
