Look out, Mika is back! This autumn he'll have finished the follow-up to his successful debut 'Life in Cartoon Motion'. Such a success story has seldom been seen. The young man has deservedly been overwhelmed with piles of platinum albums and all sorts of prestigious music prizes. To tide you over until the new album arrives, this month Mika will be presenting a Limited Edition EP containing 4 acoustic songs that he recorded with Owen Pallet, better known by his performer's name Final Fantasy but equally well for his remarkable collaboration with Arcade Fire. Three tracks from 'Songs for Sorrow' are already available as download, as of 14 May, and only via Mika's website. A few days later the entire EP will be available, again via www.mikasounds.com, but then in a luxury edition, that being a book for which Mika's favorite artists and designers provided the illustrations. A real collector's item. The release of this EP is to be supported by a small tour of only a select group of meticulously chosen venues. Belgian fans are to gather on Thursday 4 June in the Ancienne Belgique, in a seated arrangement especially for the occasion. So the number of ticket is limited. Consequently, buy tickets quick!
