Release concert for Serruys' new album 'Skin / Glove'

Mathieu Serruys debuted in 2014 with ‘On Germaine Dulac’, an album that was characterised by filmic & landscapey tape loops and well-oiled synth parts. Five years later, his musical exploration has crystalized in ‘Skin / Glove’, the long-awaited successor that will be released on B.A.A.D.M..

‘Skin / Glove’ builds further on the physical intensity, granular tape textures and emotive melodies from his debut. It forms a mature concept album that evokes not only his musical inquiry but also his personal search for self-realisation in a penetrating way.

Af Ursin, the solo project of autodidact multi-instrumentalist Timo van Luijk focuses upon intimate & hermetic atmospheres, suggestive & mystical melodies and the deterioration of sounds. During this concert, van Luijk performs live music to his own experimental film work (which shows that same poetic sensibility as his musical compositions).
