AB works with quite a few partners during Boterhammen in het Park. One of those is Straatverplegers vzw, an organisation that aims to make an end to homelessness in Brussels.

But how do you reduce the number of people with a roof over their head to zero?
By meeting one of their most important basic needs: hygiene. The staff of Straatverplegers vzw head out onto the streets every day to give medical assistance to homeless people and offer the most vulnerable of them accommodation.
In doing so, Straatverplegers vzw wants to bring people together and encourage the feeling of self-worth amongst homeless people. The organisation also literally gets people off the streets, by offering affordable accommodation.

Because we at AB are convinced of the need for Straatverplegers vzw, we would like to support the organisation.
During Boterhammen in het Park and Feeërieën you can help too. That is possible in various ways:

1.     Donate your cup deposit to Straatverplegers vzw.

2.     Leave a donation in one of the collection boxes on the festival site.

3.     Buy a Broodje Plezier with delicious Président cheese, during Boterhammen in het Park. The purchase price of 3 euro goes entirely to Straatverplegers vzw.
