Take a look at our completely renovated Agora

We haven’t been taking it easy this summer. The whole Agora (AB’s main entrance hall) has been fully renovated. For two months, a workforce of 33 braved the heat to break it all down and build it back up again.

We’re really proud of the result and can’t wait to finally be able to show you the results during IDLES (and our other forthcoming concerts).

It has to be said, our Agora was starting to look a bit scruffy after twenty years. The ‘90s may be back, but sometimes beer stains and the like need more than a wipe down with a damp cloth. Therefore we have put 66 strong hands to work. Look out for: a new bar, new lighting, a new wall of fame (it’s slightly hidden – look for it), 110 litres of new paint, new screens, new beer lines with new beers and a new sound system.

So please be warned: your senses are in for extreme stimulation. We’d also like to thank you for the countless souvenirs we’ve found behind the plasterboard. Old concert tickets, tokens, keyrings, beermats and debit cards. We can only take pride in the creativity of our visitors.
