The second edition of the Repair Café, that took place in AB on March 13, was another success. According to the statistics, we had 88 objects enter the café, of which two thirds were repaired. According to Repair Café Brussels, that’s a new record!

There were many of you there to help save as much stuff as possible from the scrap heap. A sincere thank you to our visitors, the fantastic repairers, Repair Together and Cycloperativa.

Repair Café is a free event where neighbours help each other to repair all sorts of objects. Visitors bring along their broken stuff from home and take on the repair together with volunteer experts (such as electricians, seamstresses, carpenters, …). We want to maintain reparation knowledge, and strengthen social cohesion in the neighbourhood by organising repair meets.
