This third edition of OUTRAGEOUS is a joyous collaboration between AB and FATSABBATS.
Two arms won't be enough. Neither will a single night, but let's at least create a moment of synergy together. Join FATSABBATS at AB on May 17 for an event packed with concerts, DJ sets, dancers, and a panel discussion on an OUTRAGEOUSLY compelling topic.
FATSABBATS, initially founded in December 2019, is a vibrant hub in Brussels, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ POC* communities.
“Our mission revolves around mutual aid, resource-sharing, and networking. We strive to always highlight the expertise within our communities. Through our initiatives, we aim to unite those without a dedicated space, fostering collaboration and expression while advocating for self-organisation. Although we welcome all, we mainly reach out to marginalised groups, particularly women, racially diverse individuals, and LGBTQIA+ members. As such, during our events, it is crucial that people of colour who identify within the LGBTQIA+ community take up the space they usually are denied, and feel safe & at ease with being in the front row, both metaphorically and literally.
During this event, we hope to connect even more people than usual and give the queer POCs of Brussels a pride celebration to remember!”
