From 22 to 26 August, Gare Maritime at Tour & Taxis is the place to be for fun and free afternoon concerts during our summer festival Boterhammen in de Stad. You better stick around after the performances, because Brukselbinnenstebuiten organizes super exciting guided walks on the site!
Brukselbinnenstebuiten has been known for its walks in our capital for half a century now. From 22 to 26 August, every afternoon at 2.15 p.m. two guided walks will depart: one for adults ('Het Maritiem Goederenstation en Thurn & Taxis') and one for families with children (‘De hoed van tante Solange’).
On the adult walk you will discover everything about the Gare Maritime and explore the Tour & Taxis site. Expect a fascinating look behind the scenes with the experienced Bruksel guides who are keen to share their love for the city. Families with children join the guide in search of a lost package, and meanwhile learn a lot about the past and present of Tour & Taxis.
You can register here or at the stand of Brukselbinnenstebuiten (at the AB Summer Terrace). We recommend registering in advance due to the limited capacity. A walk takes two hours and costs €7. Please note that the the guides speak Dutch!
For those who like to go out on their own: Brukselbinnenstebuiten also offers city walks at its stand to explore different neighbourhoods in Brussels, such as the culinary Smikkel-Smakkeltour for families. You can also use your smartphone to follow a route on your own at the Tour & Taxis site.
