Would you like to learn how to compose and produce electronic music in a fun but cutting-edge way? AB, together with Entree, is organising a masterclass for beginning female* & non-binary producers.
Have you always wanted to make electronic music but never really dared to? Do you want to get to know how to use a DAW (better)? Then this masterclass is for you!
AB and Entree are organizing a masterclass producing for beginners, spread over 5 days: April 13, 14, 26, 27, and 28 (each time from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The tutors are none other than Steffi Sturm (UNOS) & Céline Gillain. They will guide you through the wonderful world of electronic music and share their tips & tricks with you.
Steffi Sturm, better known as UNOS, is an enigmatic & esoteric Belgium-based Producer and DJ. Her sets range from playing colorful, eclectic music to playful but also hard-hitting tunes. Cementing her place in the music scene by being part of Singapore’s most notorious electronic underground label ‘Darker Than Wax,’ UNOS’ music transcends people onto dance floors and puts them into a trance.
Céline Gillain is a producer of experimental and electronic music and a visual and performance artist. In her music she investigates and deconstructs social themes. Her debut album 'Bad Woman' was released in 2018 on the Parisian label ‘Drama’. Her second album ‘Mind is Mud’ was released in 2023. She leads various workshops and co-founded a course dedicated to sound creation and experimental music at La Cambre School of Visual Arts in Brussels.
This workshop is made possible with the help of SABAM, and will be given in English. More info on what you can expect can be found here:
