Come to Susobrino’s exclusive listening session on the AB’s Main Stage

Belgian-Bolivian Susobrino created his own sound by intertwining traditional South American percussion music with electronica. His insatiable curiosity drove him to collect and learn to play many different sorts of instruments.

In February 2023, he embarked on a fascinating tour of Latin America, travelling through Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico to get to know local communities and immerse himself in their culture. A transformative journey that formed the basis for his new album that is to be released throughout this year in the form of four EPs: SU SO BRI NO.

He comes to present his debut album on November 20 at AB, but the curious don’t have to wait that long. You can already get a taste of the album at an exclusive listening session on April 25.

We will transform the Main Stage into an intimate space for the occasion. To fully enjoy the music, everyone will receive headphones. What’s more, Susobrino will give you a glimpse into the creative process through anecdotes and photos. A unique experience! According to Susobrino:

“I got to learn so much during my tour and it reaffirms how much I love my culture. It’s much easier for me to show off this album because there are so many collaborations that add colour and story to the music. If only for that reason, I want everyone here to hear it with headphones so that you can fully experience the music.”
