Stella will close the BRDCST festival on Sunday evening in AB Salon with her 'mbira music', a genre that is normally dominated by men. The Zimbabwean’s visit to AB caught the observant eye of journalists from Bill: "Stella Chiweshe heeft altijd haar goesting gedaan. Als jong meisje in Zimbabwe hoorde ze het magische geluid van de mbira. Ze was meteen betoverd. Alleen: de mbira was al eeuwenlang verboden terrein voor vrouwen."
