She almost didn't become a musician, as she played football in Arsenal's women's team as a child, but luckily Georgia changed tack! After her successful debut album 'Seeking Thrills', there is now the follow-up 'Euphoric'.
On Sunday 3 December she will perform in AB. Tickets can be found here.
The press about 'Euphoric' of Georgia:
- ‘Georgia’s mood is upbeat, liberatory, day-seizing. Songs such as Give It Up for Love and All Night are typical, convincingly throwing caution to the wind in the face of romance and adventure. Throughout, her airy vocals are front and centre – almost pop, even as she retains a core allegiance to digital beats, 90s sounds and house pianos.’ (The Guardian)
- ‘Swapping dancefloor bombast for understated melodies, the musician's third LP is a mixed bag of soft, colourful pop’ (NME)
- ‘Georgia wil niet langer leven door te dansen, maar dansen door het leven. Op haar derde album zet ze die nieuwe ik om in sprankelende synthpop.’ – (De Standaard)
- ‘On her follow-up, Euphoric, Georgia chose to expand her circle, working with former Vampire Weekend member and indie pop producer Rostam to try on a new sound. Introducing acoustic instrumentation and unvarnished vocals.’ – (Pitchfork)
