In March, we organised a successful crowdlending campaign together with energy platform Bolt. In just one day, we raised €127,000 to fit 204 solar panels onto our roof. This enables us to run a large part of our activities on sustainable energy. Extra good news: from today you can also switch to our excess solar energy at home!

We’d like to introduce you to Willy: our beloved housekeeper, and Bolt’s newest energy producer. Bolt is an energy platform with a clear goal: to make the Belgian power grid truly sustainable by injecting power from local, green producers into the grid.

‘Our’ Willy is now also among those producers. Willy has worked at AB for 35 years and has also lived here for 26 years. As housekeeper, he knows AB better than anyone. The best part of his job? “I’m a real music lover, so I often watch the concerts.”
