Belgian Music Week is back! From Monday 31 January to Sunday 6 February the AB will be spotlighting Belgian music too.
We’ll converse with our audience throughout the week about the most legendary Belgian music. Keep an eye on our social media and let us hear from you! What’s more, together with our partner Lotto and a heap of other Belgian concert venues, we will also be giving away 1000 duo-tickets for a concert of your choice.
Ghent’s The Bony King of Nowhere (ex-AB Artist in Residence) will play a concert on Wednesday 2 February in our AB Theater, to celebrate the vinyl release of his debut album ‘Alas My Love’. You can still buy tickets.
On Thursday we launch a brand new episode of our podcast ‘Guestlist’ about ‘The Sound of the Belgian Underground’, one of Subbacultcha's many ways of supporting new artists from the Belgian underground music scene. In this episode, Rik De Bruycker explores how artists make a living in the Belgian underground and whether it will be easier in the future for indie artists to do their own thing.
And there is Arno. Arno wants to play, perform on a stage, his biotope. With his latest touching album 'Vivre' as a virulent slogan. He presents the best of himself 'in his living room': the AB. Between the beats and blues, feelings and grooves,... not to be missed for those who love him.
Lots to look forward to!
