A little while ago, AB Café announced that it would again be joining forces with a number of Belgian artists to take on the battle against cancer. The goal? Cycling 1 000 km to raise money for Kom Op Tegen Kanker.
We have received an enormous amount of support in the meantime. You have – in large numbers – donated beaker deposits, enjoyed 1 000 km hotdogs, purchased our delicious ABee City Honey and tasted our ABEEER and the refined Rosé De Vlaeminck.
That’s great news, because all that enthusiasm has resulted in us achieving our goal of 75 000 euro (5 000 euro per team). You even went above and beyond: thanks to all those donations we have ended up with no less than 78 937 euro for Kom Op Tegen Kanker!
Celebrate! As now AB Café can depart with all 15 teams, that’s two more than last year! Our teams will give it their all during the Ascension weekend, from 5 to 8 May.
A huge “merci” to all visitors for your efforts. Thanks to the countless donations, we can give vzw Kom Op Tegen Kanker a big boost. Hopefully this means that we are a good step closer to improving the quality of life and survival chances of cancer patients.
