AB Café/Resto will be putting its best foot forward again this year too. This time they'll be placing eight teams at the start of the 1000 km for Kom Op Tegen Kanker. This year's Famous Faces are: Rick de Leeuw, Jan Hautekiet, Sioen, Tomas De Soete, Klaas Delrue (Yevgueni) and Stef Kamil. Together, they will run up 1000 kilometres.
This campaign will take place on the Ascension weekend from 29 May to 1 June 2014.
You too can aid this campaign, by sponsoring our cycling teams! That can be done in various ways:
• Donate the 20 cent deposit you receive back for an empty drink cup in the AB.
• Buy a poster with a unique photo of Belgian icons Arno (the proud godfather of this campaign) and Eddy Merckx in the Ancienne Belgique for only 5 euro. (For sale in the AB Café)
