AB cares deeply about music and the planet. That’s why we’re joining forces with the energy platform Bolt. The plan? We want to install over 200 solar panels on our roof. But as always we would be nothing without our audience, so we are organising a crowdlending campaign in order to reach our goal. What’s in it for you? Energy platform Bolt and AB are teaming up for an energy-neutral future by installing 221 solar panels on the roof of Ancienne Belgique. And via crowdlending your investment can help us attain that goal.
Hold up: what is crowdlending? Well, it’s the only form of crowdfunding that gives you the guarantee you’ll get back the full amount you’ve put in. You lend money to AB and we’ll give you a gross fixed return of 6% per year.
Alright, let’s move on: the 221 solar panels will be strategically placed across the three AB buildings and will accumulate a yearly yield of 81 MWh of solar energy. AB can then use that locally generated power for a large part of its activities.
So what’s in it for us? It doesn’t just save us money, it also has a huge impact on our carbon footprint. Thanks to the solar panels AB would be in a position to reduce our carbon emissions by 41 tons, the equivalent of what 2050 trees can neutralise.
AB’s green energy surplus will be made available via energy platform Bolt, so it can benefit households in the neighbourhood.
Let’s talk numbers. To carry out this project AB is looking for €127,000. Via the Bolt crowdlending campaign you can start investing with €200, €500 or €1,000, which will earn you a gross return of 6%. If you decide to join our cause, you don’t just invest in renewable energy, but also in the cultural scene of Brussels.
