You can hardly call the songs on the untitled debut by London quartet Yuck innovative. But those who want to relive the best guitar songs of the 90's all in one go are in the right place though. The best of Teenage Fanclub via Dinosaur Jr. to Swervedriver and Pavement have been revived in a fresh and dynamic way and their immense playing pleasure is included free of charge.
All that is what earned them a comfortable position in the BBC Sound of 2011 Chart, after which the blogosphere went into overdrive. Following their concert in the Botanique earlier this year, Focus Knack wrote: ‘If this band goes on to appear at Pukkelpop, then there's nothing to stop them becoming just as popular as their idols’.
