British pop-punk sensation reaches maturity on LP N°4!
Not even 25 years old and already put together three much-praised pop-punk albums, claimed the title of ‘Best British Band’ at the Kerrang Awards ’11, taken headline tours in UK, Europe and US and been along on tour in the buses of Paramore, 30 Seconds To Mars (in Antwerp's Lotto Arena on 11/11/13) and Parkway Drive.
The guys from British rock band You Me At Six have clearly not been sitting still over the last few years. As of January 27, they'll be entering a new chapter with the arrival of next long-player ‘Cavalier Youth’ - from which forerunner ‘Lived A Lie’ is already soaring new heights in international charts. Their teenage pop-punk has evolved in the direction of robust rock with more depth, both in the melodies and in the lyrics. “Older, wiser and brimming with confidence” as we can read in their biography.
You Me At Six have already been establishing a solid fan-base and live-reputation here in Belgium ever since they saw the light of day in 2004, with impressive shows in Trix, MOD and at Groezrock and as support for New Found Glory in AB. A steep ascent that they'll smoothly continue with their new album and their show in AB!
After supports for Bruce ‘The Boss’ Springsteen and Muse, Deaf Havana are allowed to kick off the concert evening of their British brothers You Me At Six! In their third issue ‘Old Souls’, the six from Norfolk evolve away from their former pop-punk in the direction of classic rock by first-class acts like Bruce Springsteen, The Gaslight Anthem and Kings Of Leon.
