Yo La Tengo (as ever, Spanish for ‘I have it’) must be pretty much one of the ultimate American indie/guitar bands ever. In 2014 they'll have been around for – wait for it – 30 years and their oeuvre already covers 20 albums by now. Albums that barely sell, but always receive rave reviews. Strangely – but wonderfully – enough, their following still steadily grows after all those years and their popularity also increases inexplicably.

On the other side of the channel, that will even bring them to the prestigious stage of London's Barbican in '13. The occasion being their soon to be released album ‘Fade’. We were already able to hear the album in prèmiere and are – again – quite impressed.
