Earlier this year, the AB, in collaboration with Kaaitheater and De Munt, presented 'Exit Above' by Rosas / Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. The reviews of this performance were unanimously enthusiastic. The Guardian: "Exit Above keeps De Keersmaeker on the razor's edge, giving her that special sparkle". And Le Soir: "A spellbinding performance that constantly takes the audience by surprise". And Focus Knack: "A spellbinding show with a capricious rhythm that reflects our times".

Over the course of the three days (which were sold out), it was Meskerem Mees in particular who shone. Focus Knack again: "A masterful Meskerem Mees guides you through a stormy dance performance". The Guardian also praised her singing: "Mees sings with piercing clarity while joining in with the movements".

The music - by Jean-Marie Aerts (†), guitarist Carlos Garbin and Meskerem Mees - was released on vinyl earlier this year, with no digital equivalent.
