That’s why, in the wake of Amenra’s ‘Mass VI’ release, we again dive into the musical abyss with them and dish you up a series of exciting, obscure talent that has Consouling Sounds as homebase. Dark liaison between two figureheads of Amenra – frontman Colin H. Van Eeckhout & guitarist Mathieu Vandekerckhove – who together exorcise their inner demons armed with hurdy-gurdy, guitar and throat. They probe the boundaries of post-rock, ambient, folk, drone and minimalistic electronica. Listening-music – melancholy, subtle and introspective.
