Spoken word artist Antony Szmierek has rapidly gained audiences with his thoughtful lyrics and flow. What began as poetry performances on small stages, led to sophisticated melodies to accompany his fine words. Szmierek also wrote novels, two of which he published. Gradually, his writings became shorter and shorter until they eventually resulted in songs.
He was hailed one of BBC 6 Music’s Artists of the Year 2023, later making his TV debut on Later... With Jools Holland, had an entirely sold-out first ever headline tour in the UK, and released two highly acclaimed EP's: Poems To Dance To and Seasoning.
Now he comes to AB Club to further his mission: to let others know that this is all possible!
