The golden age of indie folk
The Irish of Villagers have been around since 2008. Their catchy indie folk has already been good for 2 Mercury Prize nominations and numerous awards in the categories Album of the Year ({Awayland}), Song of the Year (The Meaning of the Ritual) and Best Folk (Becoming a Jackal), among others. In May 2024, the band will release a new album titled: "That Golden Time" and if frontman and songwriter Conor J O'Brien is to be believed, the band's love era is just around the corner!
