The peak of the Belgian electro-pop in sight with ‘Goodbye’

Jan Wouter Van Gestel nestled himself amongst the best of Belgium’s electro-pop last year with debut ‘Kepler Star’ , a spot at Rock Werchter ’15 and a sold-out AB Club topped it all off. We noted at the time that Van Gestel flirted with “Radiohead, James Blake, Sohn and – closer to home – Oscar & The Wolf” and he took that last part rather literally…

Armed with a unique vocal sound, as melancholy as it is soulful, Tout Va Bien heads into battle aside Ozan Bozdag (electronica-wizard and sidekick of Max Colombie aka Oscar & The Wolf) and producer Tim Bran (London Grammar, Birdy, La Roux) on ‘Goodbye’, brand new forerunner for an upcoming EP. In the intriguing video clip this results in a veritable punch-up party but luckily the gents have a more subtle approach musically. The scalp of STUBRU-HOTSHOT has already been taken, world domination with within arm’s reach… and we all know that, for that, you need to pass through Anspachlaan 110 first.
