Masterly indie rock
With the stunning debut album 'Big Enough,' a string of acclaimed singles and a rock-solid live reputation, Mooneye has been among the cream of the Belgian indie crop for several years. 'Come With Me And Hide,' the singersongwriter's second album confirms that once again.
When the band went into the studio in late 2022, singer Michiel Liberrecht decided to go back to basics: intimate acoustic songs. He drew inspiration from his fondness for the American way of songwriting, with elements of folk and country, and influences such as Kevin Morby, acoustic Beck and soundtracks by Morricone and Luppi. The result is a candid album from a band that sounds closer than ever.
