Under the title 'Pointing the way to new music' AB and the eleven music clubs of the Club Circuit get together in the coming concert season for an exciting series. Together they've selected 10 weekends when on each occasion another club will occupy the AB, while at the very same time the AB goes on location to that visiting club. With this project AB and the Club circuit want to place some extra emphasis on their good relations.

Democrazy presents at ABClub
The Walkmen + Lady & The Lost Boys
Wow! 'You & Me', the new album from New York band THE WALKMEN is one which initially doesn't move you but after a couple of listens settles itself deep in your soul. This is top-shelf drama-wave, such as only great bands like Elbow can produce. Raw love stories from the metropolis, set to music that smells like Velvet Underground and Interpol. In comparison with their 4 previous albums (with an ode Harry Nilsson and John Lennon's album 'Pussy Cats' from 1974 squeezed in there too) the band has changed to a calmer gear, but this simply results in their strongest work to date.
Support-act for The Walkmen in the ABClub will be the British LADY & THE LOST BOYS. The voice of this lady, singer Annabel, strongly reminds of Kate Nash but the music of The Lost Boys refuses to choose between classical, cabaret or pop.
