Irish guys make post-punk sound grander than ever
Irish post-punk band The Murder Capital released their second album, Gigi’s Recovery, in early 2023 and reinvented their sound on it. The album received high praise, including another five stars from The Guardian. Gigi’s Recovery lets us hear who the band really is and where they want to go.
They’ve played at big festivals like Glastonbury and Coachella, and are on the eve of their biggest tour yet, one that will also drop by AB. With new song Heart In The Hole, their next chapter may just be even more impressive. Having influences like IDLES and Joy Division, that can’t be a bad thing.
