Bastards of The Hives, The Bronx, Black Flag & Chuck Berry
A punk‘n’roll punch in the face! Testosterone rock at maximum volume! The five well-groomed, smartly dressed gents of The Computers from Exeter, South-England, immediately make clear in their bio on Facebook what they're here for: Destroy Everything! They mix punk with rockabilly, hardcore with blues and bowl you over at high speed with the intense songs, rarely longer than 2.5 minutes, from debut album ‘This Is The Computers’. Feisty, full of energy and no frills!
Their first LP, recorded in four days in John ‘Rocket From The Crypt’ Reis' homestudio without the assistance of – we're not making this up – computers, brought them to the Botanique's De Witloof Bar earlier this year, where they presented a searing set. They dealt a musical blow again six months later at Pukkelpop, one we're still a little groggy from. The next tremendous headbutt follows on 10 February ‘13, in the AB Club, where The Computers will chase their new album (on One Little Indian (Björk, Cody ChesnuTT, Sinéad O’Connor)) through the speakers at 1000 km/hour. Let’s start a riot!
