For the third year in a row, AB presents SPOT ON DENMARK III – together with ROSA (The Danish Rock Council), the SPOT festival and MXD (Music Export Denmark). Chosen by a jury of Belgian journalists, programmers and managers, as always, Spot On Denmark presents an evening full of promising Danish acts selected from the line-up of the SPOT showcase-festival earlier this year in Aarhus. To attend this year are:
8:00 pm - Prins Nitram
Impressive one-man band supported by himself multiplied on screen. Seeing = believing. PRINS NITRAM is the alter-ego of Martin (or Nitram backwards) Dahl. Latest album: ‘Bomty Bomty’.
9:00 pm - I Got You on Tape
We were already fans of MURDER from the first edition of Spot On Denmark, more specifically of singer Jacob Bellens' dark voice. The latter also provides the vocals for I GOT YOU ON TAPE, even though the musical tempo is faster.
10:00 pm - Lucy Love
Often referred to as the Danish grime-queen. Kindamuzik wrote: "this bold pip-sqeak-gone-wild presents herself as a fierce young Dizzee Rascal variant. Fast flows, lyrics that won't get out of your head, snappy beats, comprehensibly articulated and especially: a performance that wins over an audience with its energy and passion." It has been noted.
11:00 pm - Fagget Fairys
Still superhot with their single ‘Feed the Horse’. FAGGET FAIRYS is Danish duo (DJ Sensimilla) and Mc Ena (hailing from Sarajevo). Dancefloor-oriented electro-rap with light Balkan-influences. Also an appropriate closer for Spot On Denmark III!
Prince Nitram – live at Transmusical
I Got You On Tape – Somersault
Lucy Love – No V.I.P
FAGGET FAIRYS – Feed The Horse
