British band Skindred combines reggae and hip hop in an infectious way with biting metal-riffs, and also likes to refer to the ragga-metal tradition. No wonder then that we still recognize singer Benji Webbe from Dub War. Skindred's debut ‘Babylon’ already dates from 2002 and at the time it elicited comparisons with Korn, Living Colour, Soulfly and System Of A Down. It took 5 years for follow-up album ‘Roots Rock Riot’ to be released and now we can sate ourselves on their third album ‘Shark Bites And Dog Fights’, with that heavily pushed single ‘Stand For Something’.
Forever Never, from Essex in England, are heading through Europe with Skindred. Their debut ‘Aporia’ already dates from 2006, after which they toured with bands like Panic Cell, Madina Lake and Ill Niño. An untitled follow-up was released in 2009 and they now arrive in the AB to present it.
