Silken Tofu has been putting out experimental, noise & ambient music and visual art since 2006. Right from the start, mainly due to high standards in the choice of artists as well as attention for original and convincing cover designs, the label has established a well-respected name amongst lovers of experimental music around the world.

Stijn Demeulenaere is a sound artist, radio-maker and musician from Brussels. Aside from installations, soundscapes and live performances, he is also involved in sound design for dance, theater and film. He comes to present his just recently released album ‘Latitudes’ during this Silken Tofu night.
Yannick Franck lives and works in Brussels too. He has been active as singer, electronic musician and performance artist since 2005. He is also label boss of Idiosyncratics, has released 5 albums under his own name, worked together with artists like Craig Hilton, Pietro Riparbelli & Jari Suominen, and is a member of the bands Yermo, Black Swords and Orphan Swords.
