Copenhagen-based Trentemøller has been creating unique soundscapes and memorable melodies for over 25 years.The music represents a constant flux of themes and ideas, ushering in a new chapter of his creative journey with each release. He explores contrasts in his work, using memories, stories and innovative musical elements. 

Debut album 'The Last Resort' from 2006 made it to the year-end lists of all leading media and paved the way to a wider audience for Trentemøller. The latest release, 'Memoria', features more introspective songs with influences from motoric, dreampop, noiserock and electronica pop. He elaborates on familiar themes such as juxtapositions between lich and dark, serenity and chaos, cold and heat (clearly inspired by the weather in the Far North that he calls his home). Trentemøller has also done remixes for songs by artists such as Tricky, Savages, Depeche Mood, Franz Ferdinand, The Knife, A Place To Bury Strangers, Soft Moon and UNKLE.
