On 14 February 2009 Behoud de Begeerte celebrates its 25th anniversary. We're not going to light any separate fireworks to mark the occasion, instead Saint Amour in 2009 will receive extra international allure: the majority of the programme will be filled by renowned writers, flown into our flat land from the four corners of the globe. After all love knows no borders. Because its impossible to haul international top writers out of their splendid isolation for more than a few days, the program for each show will most likely be quite varied. But don't worry: in every city we'll be making something special of it. Saint Amour will be a feast, you can be sure of that. No speeches, disco beats or champagne receptions, but rather something comparable with snorkeling between softly swaying seaweed, coral reefs, exotic fish and of course: sea horses and mermaids.
