Recupel and AB present an exclusive show by Pommelien Thijs in exchange for your old (smart)phones
Pommelien Thijs, Recupel and AB are working together to reward fans who recycle their old phones or smartphones with an exclusive concert. Our goal? To collect as many devices as possible and together make a difference for the environment. If you want to attend the show on 28 September, hand in at least 3 old mobile phones and grab your ticket (while stocks last).
Fans of Pommelien will already know her as a recycling queen. Now she hopes to get you recycling too! Pommelien: “The production of our electronic devices has a major impact on people and on the planet. That’s why it’s important to use them responsibly and recycle as much as possible. During my series of concerts at AB from 29 April to 8 May, you’ll be able to hand in old phones. Recupel will then make sure that they’re sustainably and safely re-used or recycled in Belgium. And what’s more, taking part will earn you tickets to my extra show in September!”
How it works:
- Get your hands on at least 3 and up to 6 old mobile phones, which will get you one or two tickets respectively.
- Register here: fill in your details and choose a time to hand in your old phones at Pommelien’s merch pop-up shop in AB. You will receive a confirmation email from us.
- On Monday 28 April, you’ll get an email with your unique code. Take this code and your old phones to the pop-up shop.
- After you hand over the old phones, we’ll give you your concert ticket.
About Pommelien Thijs
Pommelien Thijs is one of today’s most hardworking young artists. When she’s not performing, she’s gracing the TV screen in Knokke Off, off on an expedition to Greenland, designing her own clothing range, or making creative videos. And she also found the time to pick up 12 MIA’s. Impressive.
In early 2024, she presented her debut album Per Ongeluk to the audience at AB during a dazzling show that sold out in the blink of an eye. In 2025, Pommelien once again found some room for us in her busy schedule for a series of concerts as part of the MEER ENTERTAINMENT TOUR. On 28 September, she will perform an exclusive show for fans who show that they care about the planet by recycling.
