The Sonik Adventurer, back with extreme new songs
Q mag: 'Sonically the album is streets ahead of anything out there and it's got the tunes as well.'
Uncut mag: 'The Sonik Adventurer explores multi-part epics on his 'defiantly 21th -Century' new LP.'
They're talking about 'Saturn's Pattern' the new album by 'Modfather' Paul Weller, rightly a rock icon in Britain. Just released this spring on Parlophone/Warner. Weller himself, in his ever honest style: 'I think it's one of the best things I've done... There's nine tracks, but it's still 45 minutes of music or something like that. I can't compare it to any of my other albums. I think it's different not just for me, but different from what else is around.'
Dead curious too? Or should we situate Paul Weller a little, first? From The Jam to The Style Council?
