LOCATION PROJECT
After the successful church concerts that AB organised last year in the Church of Our Lady of Laeken (with An Pierlé’s organ concert) and the Church of Saint John the Baptist at the Béguinage in the heart of Brussels (with Stars of The Lid), AB heads to a house of worship all over again: The Brigittines Chapel. This 'Playhouse for movement'  is only 10 minutes walking distance from the AB and Brussels Central station, and very close to Recyclart.

WHAT?
Mount Eerie is the moniker under which Phil Elv(e)rum has been putting out enduring albums for years now, on his very own label P.W. Elverum & Sun. His latest and 9th epos ‘A Crow Looked At Me’ is the heartbreaking process of dealing with the premature death of his wife/illustrator/musician Geneviève Castrée. Ironically enough it is to be cherished in the same way as lamenting gems like ‘One More Time With Feeling’ (Nick Cave), ‘Benji’ (Sun Kill Moon) and ‘Carrie & Lowell’ (Sufjan Stevens).

FUN FACT
Remarkably (and you’d almost not believe it): Phil Elverum’s music is inspired by Norwegian black metal, that he lets filter through in his music in a unique way. He even changed his surname from Elvrum in Elverum in mid 2000, named after the Norwegian town of the same name.
