Rapper/MC Miss Angel has a sharp pen, heaps of charisma and style for ten. The Antwerp native has been surrounded by hip-hop since her childhood in Linkeroever, but her real musical journey began in 2018. In that year, she penned her first tracks, found her voice, and dove into the studio with beatmaker friends to put her ideas into music. In the years after followed collabs: Miss dove into the studio with Selah Sue, Zwangere Guy, Blu Samu, Martha Da’Ro, KRANKk, Le Motel, Commander Spoon, … Even the Belgian film- and TV-world came knocking (Binti, Roomies).
Fast-forward to today. Miss Angel is one of the most prominent female rappers/MC’s in the country and she’s all set for the big time with her upcoming debut album MISS’UNDERSTOOD.
Though Miss left her private life out of the spotlights on her first EPs, now she turns the spots toward herself. MISS’UNDERSTOOD is a personal tale that gives insight into the world of Miss Angel: who she is, what she stands for and what she wants out of life. Her full self, including flaws. The beautiful and the ugly. The angry side and the vulnerable side. The bubbly side and the sexy side. Unscrupulous and above all: getting rid of all the misconceptions.
