Until a few years ago, Metejoor was just the enthusiastic teacher Joris Van Rossem from Vosselaar. Meanwhile, he is incredibly popular and has been unmissable on the Flemish charts for several years. In 2021, Metejoor's debut album was released with the monster hits "1 Op Een Miljoen", "Rendez-Vous", "Ze Meent Het" and "Dit Is Wat Mijn Mama Zei". The album has since gone platinum and been present in the Ultratop Albums Top 200 for two years.

It recently released its second album, "Joris", a very personal record. The leading track "Eigen Schuld" is a real power ballad and goes to the depths of your soul. Besides numerous new songs, the album also features the hits "Wat Wil Je Van Mij" (a duet with Dutch Hannah Mae), "Kijk Ons Nou" (with Dutch rapper Snelle) and also couldn't miss the Love For Music tracks "Laat Ons Een Bloem" (with which Metejoor wrapped up the summer of 2023) and "Schaduw" (a collaboration with his sister Lisa) on the new successful album. Single "Wat Wil Je Van Mij" is still shaving high peaks. Meanwhile, it is good for double platinum, making it one of his biggest hits in Flanders.

Soon Metejoor will fulfil his big dream in the Sportpaleis. After that, Joris and his band will perform all his hits and the new album in venues throughout Flanders and Brussels!
