Welcome in the fantastic, mysterious dream-world of Maya’s Moving Castle. Only the exquisite, melancholy voice provides an illuminated path in the dark forest.

On the way we hear mesmerizing melodies, sometimes sad, other times blissful. But always exciting, innovative and idiosyncratic.

Or, what it might be like if David Lynch were to ask Björk and The Cure to write the soundtrack for one of his films. Dangerously beautiful. Intensely sweet. Obstinately exciting.

Maya's Moving Castle is the creation of a musical girl who grew up on a small farm, where she wrote her songs at night while the insects slept and only the moths fluttered around. In her attic room she created her own fantasy world, driven by the power of her imagination and the urge to experiment.

Now the attic room has become a studio, where she's working on her debut album together with producers Stefan Bracke (Raveyards, ex-The Subs) and François De Meyer (Raveyards, Villa), and top musicians Nele De Gussem (vocals, guitar), Stijn Vanmarsenille (bass, synth) and Simon Segers (drums).

That debut will be in stores at the end of October, but as of September there is 'Next Life': the first Maya's Moving Castle single!
