Iconic shock-rocker returns with ninth devil's spawn!
Maximum 4 tickets per person!
Brian Hugh Warner has been terrorising and contemptuously offending many a musical moralist since ’89, with his alter-ego Marilyn Manson. For nine albums long already (his latest ‘The Pale Emperor’ dates from January ’15), he has been fiercely flouting all forms of common decency with a mixture of alternative rock, industrial metal, goth influences & satanic references (he released his very own Absinthe ‘Mansinthe’ onto the market, with an alcohol percentage of 66,6%, and is a member of the Church of Satan)! And we haven't even mentioned the grotesque and often shocking liveshows that the Lucifer of shock-rock often turns out.
Manson's rock status took on iconic properties during the ‘90s – with albums like ‘Smells Like Children’ and especially ‘Antichrist Superstar’ (produced by good friend Trent ‘Nine Inch Nails’ Reznor) and ‘Mechanical Animals’ – while established rock anthems like ‘Sweet Dreams’, ‘The Beautiful People’, ‘The Dope Show’ and ‘I Don’t Like Drugs (But The Drugs Like Me)’ have already been metal-coloured rock heritage for years.
After excursions as actor (in TV series like ‘Sons Of Anarchy’) and as painter (in 2014 there was a Manson water-colour exhibition ‘Masquerade’ during Groningen's Eurosonic showcase festival), the ‘Mephistopheles of Los Angeles’ (which is also his latest single) returns with a vengeance for a scorched portion of hell on earth!
