Haunting singer-songwriter presents debut
Loverman's dark folk sounds melancholic, otherworldly and timeless all at the same time. His deep voice and poetic lyrics are reminiscent of greats like Nick Cave and Bill Callahan.
James de Graef's solo project - with the impressive debut single Into the Night - received rave reviews. In the accompanying music video, Loverman dove into the Parisian nightlife. With a stark, white face, a penetrating gaze and pointed ears, he alludes to F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu. After the release of the wonderful song Parlay, the quirky singer-songwriter toured Europe with Tamino late last year. Loverman draws you into his hypnotic, mysterious world with singles like Differences Aside and most recently Candyman.
