pop/rock sensation from Utrecht sets victory march forth
For a few years now, Kensington (from Utrecht) has been filling concert venues like, say, Paradiso, Melkweg and 013 with ease. Their previous album ‘Vultures’ was hailed by music mag OOR as ‘The best Dutch album of the year’, they won the 3FM Award for ‘Beste Live Act’, and – with their latest, third longplayer ‘Rivals’ - they now continue their victory march amongst our northern neighbours: on 20 February 2015 they give it their all, in a jam-packed Heineken Music Hall!
They had their immense, stadium-suited sound made to measure by Grammy Award winner Tom Lord-Alge (The Rolling Stones, U2, The Cure, Weezer) and that turned out to be a golden combination with the majestic refrains that the foursome has patented.
